Neocon Academics: Constitution is a “Suicide Pact”

“…According to Levinson, the Constitution is “undemocratic,” a remarkable comment from a supposed law professor. Article 4, Section 4 of the Constitution guarantees to every state a republican form of government, not a democratic one. In a republic, people enjoy natural rights, while in a democracy they are limited to “civil rights” granted by the government. In other words, under Levinson’s democracy, the Bill of Rights is meaningless, as it protects minority rights. In a democracy, 51% of the people can vote to rob the remainder of their money, property, even their lives…”

Texas Straight Talk: Do Tax Cuts Cost the Government Money?

One member of Congress to pay attention to in the District of Columbia is Congressman Dr. Ron Paul of Texas. Mr. Paul is a staunch advocate of limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to a sound monetary policy based on commodity-backed currency. Fortunately for all of us whether a resident of the 14th district in Texas or not, Congressman Paul fights everyday for true American liberty. He writes an informative, no-nonsense column on current events every week called ‘Texas Straight Talk‘. The following is his most recent column, courtesy of Mr. Paul’s website. New World Order Warning to Congress circa 1945

The following prophetic speech delivered to the United States Senate (in the hope of stopping the adoption of the United Nations Charter) was published in the Congressional Record, recording the testimony of Mrs. Catherine P. Baldwin who pleaded with the Senators to reject adoption of the United Nations Charter, and to realize that acceptance of this global Charter would lead to divesting our nation of its substance, (that which held the nation together), and would erode the barriers and safeguards, which had always protected the foundation and principles of our freedom and liberty.  Evidence now abounds that U.N. membership (globalization) is destroying U.S. substance.

The Sheriff: A Necessary Office

“…The county sheriff is being introduced to a maneuver that will gradually eliminate him by a merger with federal marshals.  Already under threat by an Advisory group,[1] the traditional American constitutional sheriff will be divested of his authority.  He will lose his control over the jails and the courts, and all civilian law enforcement will be consolidated on the federal regional government level…”

Devvy Kidd: The Future Of Food, Monopolizing Seeds That Feed The World

“…It gives me no pleasure to be so blunt, but perhaps the time has come to do the “in your face” to break through that wall people have put up to stave off having to face unpleasant facts. One of the most unpleasant facts is that America’s food supply is being transferred into the hands of a few multinational corporations who care nothing for America or the health of those they claim benefit from their food products…”

Crisis of the U.S. Dollar System

“…It’s accepted wisdom that the United States, despite recent problems, is still the strongest growth locomotive for the world economy, the pillar of the global system. What if we were to discover that, instead of being the pillar, that the United States was, in fact, the heart of a dysfunctional economic system, which is spreading instability, unemployment, and depression globally?…”
