Pushing National IDs

“…The expanding terror watch list is compelling evidence that the federal government can’t even manage to keep a relatively small database under control. That’s a bad omen for the future. Under legislation signed into law by President Bush in 2005 and now due to be implemented in 2009, the nation will create a federally administered list that is a quantum leap in size larger than the terrorist watch list. Moreover, under this new program it won’t be the names of terrorists or suspected terrorists that inhabit the new, gargantuan federal database; it will be the names and personal information of ordinary law-abiding Americans…”

NSA “Listening Plates” Positioned in all 5 NYC Boroughs

“…In the last year New Yorkers from all five boroughs have seen the whirlwind erection of the supposed NSA listening plates. These plates adorn rooftops of both tenement and office buildings alike. They are clustered on the edges of buildings and on the sides of cedar water towers in groups ranging from two to a dozen. In every instance a bundle of black wires weave their way from the plates into small freshly built rooftop utility buildings. All plates share a common angle of approximately 15 degrees down towards the street…”

Calling Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) by Any Other Name is Still RFID

Fear of Radio Frequency ID Chips Prompts Simple, Effective Methods to Deactivate the Technology

“…When Brenden Walker got his new MasterCard PayPass ATM card in the mail, he headed to the gas station to try it out. To test the card’s “Tap N Go” convenience, he passed it in front of the scanner, which activated with a beep and displayed the word “Authorizing …” on its LCD screen. That was quite enough for Walker. Without completing the transaction, he put the card down on the pavement and took a hammer to it. “I gave it a couple of good whacks, he said…”

The Real ID Rebellion

“…In 1775, New Hampshire was the first colony to declare its independence from oppressive laws and taxes levied by the British crown. Now it may become the first state to declare its independence from an oppressive digital ID law concocted in Washington, D.C. New Hampshire’s House of Representatives has overwhelmingly approved a remarkable bill, HB 1582, that would prohibit the state from participating in the national ID card system that will be created in 2008. A state Senate vote is expected as early as next week…”

The Latest Tyranny: Tagging Terrorist Chickens

This article by Franklin Sanders, “The Most Dangerous Man in the Mid South,” makes excellent points about the upcoming National Animal Identification System (NAIS). This quote should imspire you to read further, “…The NAIS abolishes private property rights in farms and in animals. The NAIS, run by a branch of the USDA, considers “your” animals to be not yours, but part of “the national herd.” Plainly, they are right. If they can force you to register your farm and your animals, you do not own them. They own them because they control them. You are only inventorying property & animals for their true owner, the federal government….”

A Declaration Of Sovereignty And
Rejection Of The National I.D. Card

“After giving the matter considerable thought, our senators are sleeping at the helm. It is up to the people in each of the states to petition and call on their separate state legislatures to pass an amendment banning the Real ID Act and any similar enactments. The time is at hand to call for a limited online convention which is by the mandate of the people only open to the repeal of illegal Federal enactments, especially the Bush Administration Draconian Enactments and Restore the sovereign Rights of “We the People” and then State Rights. Possibly, this could be achieved by restoring our Federal governments operational platform once more upon the principles of the Articles of Confederation; so as to protect the people from the overarching efforts of any new dictatorial and abusive efforts promoted by any future federal governments. The Constitution is to be amended by a Limited Common Law Convention, to be mandated by the people, then afterwards, sanctioned by their state legislatures (two-thirds required), and then finally to be ratified by demand of “We the People” by three-fourths of the state legislatures.” —Larry Johnson

American Life Under a National ID Card

Tom DeWeese is the publisher/editor of The DeWeese Report and president of the American Policy Center, a grassroots, activist think tank headquartered in Warrenton, Virginia. Its Internet site is www.americanpolicy.org. When I read his article I found myself nodding my head in agreement . Once the REAL ID is in place, it will only be a small step to the VERI-CHIP. (“…the world’s premier Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) company for people”…) If you think this is far fetched, think again. Big Brother is only about 12 years late, better late than never, right?!
